In Pursuit of Victory- Varun Anand Bhat

To the times they told you that you couldn’t,

To the times you were lazy & you wouldn’t,

You have lost so much, You missed a golden chance,

It’s not too late though, It’s time for that one last dance.

The field is set, and The road shall be tough,

It’s meant only for the ones who are strong, hard & rough.

You have to use your mind, You got to make the read,

Many are ahead in this race, but you still can take the lead.

There are rivers you will cross & mountains you shall climb,

Winning isn’t the ultimate goal & losing is not a crime.

People will criticize, Your very own will doubt,

You have to stay committed, you need to be consistent throughout.

You can fall and stumble, but you can’t quit,

When dealing with adversities, you need to show your grit.

The journey seems long & it will surely be tiring,

Immense pain you will endure, But the story will be inspiring.
