Ind vs Pak fiasco exposed bourgeoisie democracy- Chirag Saxena

The recent conflict with Pakistan shows how bourgeois democracy fails its people.

After the terror attack, our very own man of the people visited an election rally instead of talking to those affected.

For political parties, elections will always be more crucial. More often than not, they place value on what will be popular electorally rather than what is right.

Once Operation Sindoor was over, corporations wanted to trademark it for their own benefit.

The retaliation from the Pakistani side was expected. I was talking to someone from Punjab and asked, “Were there any government efforts to help you?”

She replied, “We didn’t wait for it. Our people did everything together!”

After days of ceasefire, I was waiting for the prime minister to mention the casualties in Poonch and our reconstruction efforts, but not even a single word! Once again, people turned to community fundraising for the people of Poonch.

People praise the military, but while Modi was doing cosplay in a military uniform, actual personnel died during this conflict.

At this stage, a question came to my mind: What does the government even do?

Except for increasing their power, subjugating the proletariat, and helping their rich friends who brought them to the table?
